Who Wants a House for 1 Euro? Not Italians
Launched in Sicily in 2017 in order to reverse rural depopulation, the “Case 1 Euro” program has since spread to much of Italy. The program, which lets people purchase abandoned houses for €1, has attracted all foreign buyers.
