World’s Lowest Birth Rate Record to be Broken by South Korea, Again
In Q3 2019, South Korea’s fertility rate fell to 0.88, the lowest quarterly rate on record. This number is down from the 0.98 yearly figure South Korea reported in 2018, which was already the lowest fertility rate in the world.
