A first-wave Xer says he is frustrated about being passed over by companies who prefer to hire young workers with plenty of extracurricular activities. Though it’s true that the cards are stacked against Xer job-seekers, their struggles have more to do with the fact that many 20-somethings are willing to work for half the cost (or even for free).
