Gen Xer Jen Chaney writes that 2016’s parade of high-profile celebrity deaths took an especially heavy toll on her generation. While other generations undoubtedly mourned the loss of David Bowie, Carrie Fisher, and Prince (to name a few), for Xers like Chaney, 2016 was an “ongoing wake for our cultural touchstones.”
